The annual MAA meetings offer our members the unique opportunity to hear about creative ideas and solutions relative to their manufacturing processes, product development goals, operational safety, regulatory issues and a host of other topics related to the aerosol package. The MAA has a diverse mix of members allowing for a wide range of experience, expertise and ideas that can be exchanged between members and individuals involved in the aerosol industry. At our meetings, you will receive updates on the state of the aerosol industry, with an emphasis on the variety of issues that confront the aerosol package on a daily basis. Members can also attend discussions and presentations regarding ideas and suggestions for improving the way we do business.
Educating the Public
The Midwest Aerosol Association was founded in 1971 as the Aerosol Industry Development Association to provide a meeting place for people involved with the aerosol industry in the Midwestern United States. The Midwest Aerosol Association is a nonprofit organization consisting of companies in all phases of the aerosol packaging industry. Our membership consists of private label contract packagers, brand name marketers, component suppliers, and industry consultants. The range of markets served includes Automotive, Food, Household, Paint, Personal Care, Pharmaceutical products. MAA seeks to communicate facts about aerosols through the education of its members and the general public. In order to ensure continued growth and consumer acceptance of the aerosol package, the public needs to be educated as to the environmental soundness of the aerosol. Aerosol's have not contained CFC's since 1977 and are 99 percent recyclable.
