Boomers Website

The MAA receives a logo and link on the partner page of the Boomers website throughout the season.

Aerosol Can Races

The Midwest Aerosol Association sponsors the Aerosol Can Races, which take place in the middle of the 6th inning at Schaumburg Boomers home games.

Fans are selected from the audience and wear costumes representing Sunscreen, Insect Repellent and Shave Cream. Each costume includes the "It's OK to Spray" tag line and MAA logo. The race course takes the cans on a full lap of the grandstand, giving everyone a close up view and a chance to cheer for their favorite contestant. During each event, live footage of the race is displayed on the video billboard along with an overlay featuring the MAA logo and character illustrations. The MAA logo is featured on the video billboard a minimum of two times during each Boomers home game.

Prior to the start of each game, the MAA sponsors an anti-huffing message on the video billboard from teh Alliance for Consumer Education. The anti-huffing message was directed at parents of teens and pre-teens and was presented by a member of the Boomers team.
